About the opportunity:
As the Project Manager – Accreditation Standards, you will be a key member of the Development and Governance leadership team responsible for an important implementation project. 

You will lead the implementation of the new model specialist accreditation standards and procedures for various training programs and ensure compliance and high-quality standards in the accreditation process. This role reports to the Head of Education Development and Governance and offers the opportunity to influence at both an operational and strategic level. 

The Development and Governance unit sits within ANZCA’s Education and Research department. Together, the team leads the strategic design and continuous improvement of training and professional development programs, including curricula and assessment frameworks, digital learning, policy and governance systems, and reporting and evaluation.

This team also supports ANZCA’s education governance committees and communities of practice—ensuring our programs are responsive, evidence-based, and aligned with global best practice and local health equity priorities.


Keys to your success:

You would be an experienced project manager, comfortable operating in a complex environment. You will have substantial experience work across teams and multiple stakeholders, and experience managing projects in a regulated industry (ideally medical/health care). 

You will ideally bring:

  • Proven track record in project management, delivering key outcomes within agreed timeframes and budget, preferably in the context of health, education, or standards development. 
  • Applied understanding of contemporary project and change management methodologies, frameworks and tools. 
  • Strong experience in stakeholder engagement and influencing skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain collaborative and constructive work relationships, at all levels and across diverse groups, internally and externally. 
  • Experience contributing to the development and enhancement of technology systems to create alignment with new cross functional processes, with a focus on ensuring they meet accreditation standards and support effective implementation. 
  • Experience supporting governance bodies, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, documenting decisions, and preparing strategic briefing documents and progress reports. 
  • Excellent written communication skills, analyse, interpret, contextualise and present clear and meaningful information demonstrated through effective engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of education activities including resources such as webinars and online learning. 

Desirable 

  • Expertise in developing and aligning accreditation standards and procedures (preferrable within medical/ healthcare environment, but can be from other applicable settings).
