The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) is seeking a skilled and motivated Fundraising Administration Officer to support the vital work of the ANZCA Foundation.  

About ANZCA 

The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) incorporates the Faculty of Pain Medicine and the ANZCA Foundation, and is an internationally recognised specialist medical education institution responsible for the training, examinations, specialist qualification, and continuing professional development of all anaesthetists and pain medicine specialists in Australia and New Zealand. 

The College has a proud record of promoting professional standards and patient safety in the areas of anaesthesia, perioperative and pain medicine and is at the forefront of specialist medical education, ensuring it continues to evolve to meet the changing demands of the profession and the patients it serves. 

About the opportunity 

The role of Fundraising Administration Officer sits within the ANZCA Foundation. The Foundation works to raise funds and support medical research for healthcare improvements in anaesthesia, perioperative and pain medicine, and global and Indigenous health. 

Reporting to the General Manager (ANZCA Foundation), the successful candidate will provide excellent administrative support for the donor and prospect relationship development and fundraising functions of the Foundation.  

Key responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality administrative support, including database management, reporting, donation processing, and maintaining website and promotional content. 
  • Coordinate meetings for the Foundation Committee. 
  • Support the planning and delivery of fundraising events and activities. 
  • Deliver excellent customer service to current and prospective donors. 
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as required. 

About you 

You are a proactive, detail-oriented administrator who enjoys working with people and supporting meaningful initiatives. You bring strong organisational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. 

You will bring 

  • Demonstrated administrative experience in a professional environment. 
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, including event coordination. 
  • Intermediate to advanced database and reporting capability. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. 
  • Solid computer literacy.
